And that’s not all. We have many more exciting things planned this month, so keep on reading if you don’t want to miss anything.
Last month, I told you about Daniel Gilbert’s book, Stumbling on Happiness. To recap, he said humans are a poor predictor of their future state of emotions. Before you make a decision, you should try speaking to people who have been in a similar situation or are at a stage in their life where you want to be and ask them questions, instead of blindly following your gut.
To build on that, I introduce you to Scott Young. Scott is the author of the book, Ultralearning and he believes that a typical person, if seriously committed, could make enormous improvements in their life in less than a year. But only if they build from the right foundation
One of his foundational practice is to have ‘One Conversation Per Week with Someone Smarter Than You.’
Why is this important? Keep on reading to know what Scott has to say about this.

Continued from introduction.
You should make an effort to talk with someone who is ahead of you, in any area of life, at least once per week.
The most effective way to practise these methods is to speak to strangers.
Why? We will always be limited in the knowledge that we can gain if we always stick to the same circle of people.
Reaching out to people that are outside your circle is essential to expand our minds and broaden our perspectives.
