EntryLevel is an experience platform dedicated to helping everyone discover and reskill into their next job. Our programs are designed to help you learn and build the experience needed to land that first job in a new field.
Our Experiences are one month, virtual courses that mimic the real work of a professional in a specific role. They are conducted virtually, and have a flexible structure so you can take part at a time that suits you. All the content that makes up the Experience is put together by a team of industry mentors, all experts in the field.
No, this is not an internship. You will not be working for any of the mentors, the company of the mentor, or EntryLevel. This is an educational experience designed to give you insight into what it's like to be in that role and help you build up a portfolio for your first job!
We're working on it. When we get industry approval for any of our programs, we will let all of our students know.
If there is high demand for the experience you want, we will make one for you in our next round of offerings. If you have not already applied to an experience, you can request an experience here.
We ask for the experience you want to join when you create an account. If you have already made an account, then you don't have to do anything else.
After you sign up, you will receive a confirmation email from the team at EntryLevel.
Closer to your experience commencement date, we will get in touch with the onboarding details you will need to take part in the experience.
The time commitment is expected to be around 10 - 15 hrs per week (depending on the which experience you choose and it's difficulty). The experience is virtual and mostly self-guided, so you can be flexible on how and when you choose to do the work. However, there are added benefits in each course to completing content according to the scheduled times.
EntryLevel has a commitment bond model. This means that you pay a commitment bond of $100 USD, and if you complete the experience on time then you will get a full refund.
The program can be free if you finish the program. We ask for a $US 100 commitment bond which is fully refunded if you finish the program.
We want our students to be dedicated to learn, grow their skills, engage with their peers and land a great job. That's why we ask that you put down $100 until you finish the course - as a commitment to taking the experience seriously. We also understand that $100 can be a lot for some of our students, so we will be providing financial support for a small group of our students.
The only acceptable reason to drop out and get a full refund is a medical reason (yourself or a close family member that you need to attend to). We do ask for proof to provide a refund for this reason.
EntryLevel makes money through a few ways:
-> Charging participants for additional perks such as premium certificates, bonus content and other perks.
-> Commitment Bonds
-> Enterprise/Business recruitment fees
While we are aiming to increase the frequency of our programs, our next cohort will run in early January. You can join a waitlist now by selecting a program from Programs tab.
The experience is run by EntryLevel and led by a team of industry mentors who help us create the content and curriculum.
Currently, due to high demand and limited spots, we are limiting the our experience to one per user.
We have absolutely no affiliation with the companies mentioned but your mentor is building experiences based on their personal involvement with that company.
Absolutely! After you complete an experience, you can add the experience to your CV, Resume or LinkedIn.
However, we ask you to not list yourself as an employee at EntryLevel.
As you complete each project and mission during the experience, your mentor will send samples which show you how they would have approached each task. In this way you will be able to self-assess your own work and continue to build the skills and confidence to be successful in the role.
We also include a peer review at the end of the experience to assess your performance alongside your cohort.
Due to the number of students we help, we aren't able to give you direct feedback.
Nothing. Your learning is self-led, and if you don't want to continue then you can stop at any time.
Absolutely! Our experiences are made for newbies in the field. All you to need to take part is an interest in the field and access to the internet!
Absolutely! Our courses are designed to help everyone, at any stage of their career, to discover a new field.
We treat the collection and storage of your data very seriously. We will collect some data on you to help us better customise our virtual experiences for you.
We also have a recruitment network that occasionally come to us to recruit candidates based on samples of work generated during the programs. You can opt in or out of this service during the program.
